We are looking for a self-motivated individual within the Northeast area, preferably within the NY, MA, CT area for a full time (40 hour) position as a Software Sales Associate to help us expand our clientele. This is a remote position, with the possible need to travel with team for trade shows once trained and settled in the role. Therefore, high-speed internet, access to transportation, and the ability to self-manage will be key to success.

You will work with prospects to identify and qualify opportunities for the sales team. This includes email and phone outreach, content creation, prospect research, proposal, and presentation generation, and more. Your goal will be to book appointments that eventually turn into sales opportunities, driving sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with prospects.

This is an entry-level position, and we provide training and familiarize you with the solutions we provide. At Accelerated, we strive to provide a collaborative, creative environment where each person feels encouraged to contribute to our processes, decisions, planning and culture. Our core business hours are 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern Time. This full-time position will consist of 40 hours a week Monday-Friday, including a 90-day introductory period.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Craft personalized emails and messages to capture the attention of a prospect to set up a call
  • Reach out to prospects via email, phone calls, and other methods
  • Call and email prospects to follow up on previous outreach
  • Generate and qualify leads (BANT Qualification)
  • Track prospect outreach and maintain records in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Assist with Request for Proposal (RFP) Qualification & Response
  • Provide feedback and strategies for sales and attracting prospects
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting prospects’ objectives
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new prospects
  • Develop entry level skills to move into a more prominent role
  • Various business development-related assignments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, And Outlook)
  • Experience with Outbound Calling (Sales, Fundraising, Marketing)
  • Stable and High-Speed Internet Connection
  • Proficiency in English

Helpful, but not required:

  • Experience in Customer Support is a plus
  • Experience in CRM Software (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus

This position is part-time virtual internship. Interns will be expected to dedicate 20 hours per week to this position. Training and assignments will be performed remotely. There is an opportunity for employment after the internship concludes.

Training Overview:

  • Complete Laserfiche training and relevant certifications.
  • Build solutions, such as workflows, using our software tools that would solve business needs and help business processes run more efficiently.
  • Build electronic forms and process diagrams to automate processes.
  • Assist in solving customer support cases.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a STEM field.
  • Ability to learn and understand software, hardware, networking, and database systems.
  • Experience with scripting, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JQuery, or web development.
  • Knowledge of programming best practices.

We are seeking a new team member to support our customers and our internal network. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated person who enjoys challenges, loves solving problems, and has a positive attitude at all times. This is an entry-level support and administration position with great career potential as the company grows. A typical day in this position will involve supporting customers, troubleshooting the Laserfiche application suite, and internal helpdesk issues and network/server/client maintenance.

Required skills:

  • Great troubleshooting skills for applications, PCs, servers, and networking devices.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • The ability to communicate in English and guide customers through troubleshooting steps clearly and patiently.
  • Ability to document case notes and coordinate with Level 2 support from manufacturer.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Microsoft or network certifications, or equivalent experience.

Helpful, but not required:

  • Knowledge of Laserfiche enterprise content management software is a big plus.

The Presales Engineer role is a broad one. First and foremost, presales engineers are the software experts; they learn the product suite inside and out, from architecture to implementation. As such, they have a wide range of responsibilities with the opportunity to work with a wide range of people. They could be brought onto a sales call to answer technical questions, asked to give a webinar, brought to a user group to chat with customers, or consulted in designing solutions for a customer’s business needs. To meet these challenges, an ideal candidate is someone well-rounded and driven to find the best solution. Problem-solving skills are a must, as are written and oral communication skills. A presales engineer should be approachable and happy to lend a hand. This is a challenging and diverse role, but a presales engineer will never be bored and will always be learning.

Responsibilities

Proof-of-Concept Demonstrations:

  • Speak with potential customers to learn about their business process needs
  • Build a solution using our tools to solve their business needs and help their processes run more efficiently
  • Present the solution to the customer and answer any technical questions

Software Training:

Sales Support:

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Firm knowledge of the following: ASP.net, .NET Framework , XML, OOP, MVC, REST/SOAP, SQL, OAuth
  • Professional development experience in either C#, Java, C++ or PHP
  • Proficient in relational database design
  • Strong academic background and must be in current pursuit of undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or related fields
