In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, MSD’s Laserfiche Cloud system has allowed much of the office staff to work remotely on the same system they use in the office. Their public portal grants constituents instantaneous access to public documents without having to leave their homes, and allows for less on-site staffing to fulfill Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)/Sunshine requests. Having a seamless platform for staff and constituents has proven an invaluable resource during the shift to a remote-access world.
