If your municipality has been considering Laserfiche, now is the time to act.
Starting December 31, 2025, Laserfiche will officially sunset the Municipal Site Package for populations under 10,000 designed specifically for small local governments:
This change affects new purchases only. Existing customers with active subscriptions will continue to receive support and can renew their packages. However, after December 31, 2025, these packages will no longer be available for sale under the current pricing and structure.
Why This Matters
The Municipal Site Package has been a popular choice for small towns, villages, and boroughs looking for a cost-effective way to digitize records, streamline workflows, and improve transparency. It’s tailored for communities with fewer than 10,000 residents and gives you a full-featured Laserfiche system including records management, electronic forms, workflow, AI powered tools, and public and forms portals for over 90% off list price.
Once the sunset takes effect, new customers will no longer be able to purchase this package — making this your last opportunity to lock in a solution built for your size and budget.
What's Changing
The Municipal Site Package (both Self-hosted Subscription and Cloud) will no longer be sold after December 31, 2025.
Existing customers can continue to renew their packages and purchase non-user add-ons.
The Future of Laserfiche: Smarter, Faster, AI-Powered
Laserfiche isn’t just a document management system — it’s evolving into a powerful AI-driven platform that helps municipalities work smarter and faster.
With new features like Smart Fields, Smart Chat, and Document Summarization, Laserfiche AI helps local governments:
- Automatically extract key data from forms, reports, and scanned documents
- Summarize long documents into digestible insights for faster decision-making
- Search documents using natural language, making it easier for staff to find what they need without complex queries
These tools are built with security in mind and respect user permissions and redactions. They’re also designed to work out of the box — no advanced technical skills required.
For municipalities with limited staff and growing demands, these AI features can dramatically reduce manual work, improve service delivery, and unlock valuable insights from your records.
Don't Miss Out
If your municipality has been exploring Laserfiche, this is your chance to take advantage of a package designed specifically for small communities — before it’s gone.
